Martina Magenau Jacobs, her mother was director of alumni relations for alumni affairs at Heinz College for Carnegie Mellon University. Her parents were her father, William F. Jacobs Jr. Lebanon. She's of French German Irish Scottish descent. She is of French Scottish, Irish and German heritage. Her grandfather John Martin Magenau Jr. was the President and CEO of the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery in Erie Pennsylvania which had been established in 1847. It closed in 1978. Jacobs first began acting lessons when she was 8 years old and continued to take Saturday classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Mt. Jacobs was a student at Lebanon High School from 2000 to the year 2004. In 2004, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.
