Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin, and lived in DeForest, Wisconsin, but she currently lives with her family in Los Angeles. After completing DeForest Area High Schools in DeForest as well as Stevens Point University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts She was raised in Madison. Rutgers University awarded her a Master's in Fine Arts degree in 2001. Anders dated Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until 2015. They met on sets of Joey, the cancelled sitcom. Anders' brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). The year 2001 was the time Anders started her professional career as a theatre actress. Anders played the role of Mary Louise Parker for the Broadway production Proof. Also, she played Elaine Robinson later in The Graduate. On the Jump was her debut appearance on The Arena Stage. New Doors occurred in the Guthrie Theater. Two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender & New World Rhapsody were also staged through New York Stage & Film. In May 2007 Anders started in her first Geffen Playhouse performance of Fat Pig. Fat Pig was closed by July 1st 2007. The character she played was Jeannie the accountant. Anders was first discovered on TV in an ad for Dannon the show, which ran from 2006 and again during the 90s. Anders is best known for her role in the television series Joey (as attorney Alex Garrett) and The Class in the role of Nicole Allen (nee Campbell) as the wife of a former football player. The two series ended up being cancelled even though she was in every episode. Anders made guest appearances in One Life to Live as well as Law & Order and Tru Calling. In 2003, she starred as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. She also made minor appearances in The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders also appeared on Numb3rs in the year 2008. Anders was also a part of two TV pilots that failed. Spellbound, News To Me. Anders made an appearance in Better Off Ted for ABC the comedy-drama featuring just only one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.
